A Celidh (pronounced Kaylee) is a traditional Scottish dance get together – which sounds a bit formal but they are not !  We birled around doing the Gay Godons and The Dashing White Sergent. I was utterly roasting at this point! All the danced are ‘called’ so if you don’t know them already you can learn as you go along.

#blogmanay is brought to you by Edinburgh’s Hogmanay and is supported byETAG,EventScotland,VisitScotland, and co-creators Haggis Adventures. Created and produced byUnique Events. As always, all opinions expressed here are entirely my own.
