One of the transformative things about taking photographs is that less good weather = more interesting skies. Some of the DULLEST photographs taken are on ‘perfect summers days’. The light is uniform bright and FLAT. This is a slight comfort when I look out the window and finally force myself to go out. In reality of course I should also take into account the Swedish saying ‘there is no bad weather only the wrong clothes’ but *sigh* it is hard to get it right here sometimes. These are from last week when I had a lovely afternoon in the Fine Art Library and afterwards wandered along George IV Bridge then Chambers St and South Bridge.
