Blog love sunday: Knit-a-Square

Occasionally I hop on a bus and go down to Edinburgh’s seaside aka Portobello aka Porty. Sometimes I just sit on the prom looking out to the Forth and crochet. I’ve got boxes and boxes of grannie squares (I’m a little obesssed by the pattern something about the little bursts of colour plus the quickness of it). The eight inch squares are all destined fo Knit-A-Square to make blankets for Aids orphaned and vulnerable children in South Africa.

  1. That sounds like such a nice thing to do! Edinburgh is such a beautiful place : )

  2. I’ve never figured out how to make a granny square yet. Some day!
