missing women’s history every day
I’ve just written an article for a zine which Edinburgh Lo-fi Photography is going to distribute over the next few days as part of the AltPhoto Festival organised by Kenny Bean. How gobsmaked was I to find out that Jessie Mann probably one of the very first women to use photographic equipment lived in a house which is one street away from where I work nearly every day? She lived in the house above in Wellington Place in 1841. The article will go online as well. I put a link in when it goes live

Pics from last week when I got cabin feaver and threw on my (fake) fur coat and strode off to Rock Salt on Constitution St for brunch. The ceiling photos are of the amazing wedding cake style cornicing not sure its full glory comes over. The Ministers Cat is also a word game though here it appears to be the name of a band.
